LYON AIRPORT

Lyon Airport is situated 15 kms east of the city. There are numerous arrival and departure gates in the airport but the majority of UK flights, including all of Easyjet's, arrive at gate 10 (terminal 3). Whilst Lyon Airport is considerably further away than Geneva or Chambery the route is almost entirely on motorway making for fast transfer times. Having said that the motorway can get very busy during French holidays with delays of 1-2 hours.
