Chambery Airport

Chambery Airport is situated just east of the city. The last five years have seen a great increase in the availability of flights here from the UK. FlyBe, Snowjet and BMI have regular arrivals at very reasonable prices. Chambery is also the nearest airport to the resorts in our area making for some very short transfers which are, for the large part on motorways.
The down side to Chambery Airport is that it is very small. There is only one shop and one cafe on-site and on Saturdays the terminal can be very busy. It is also situated in a fairly narrow valley which can attract bad weather resulting in flight delays or diversions on occasion. Having said that, when everything runs smoothly it can make for an incredibly convenient and cheap transfer.

Ste. Foy

Ste. Foy is a relatively small resort with just 4 chairlifts. The skiing and snowboardng here however, is excellent. It has a good variety of pistes with some beautiful tree lined runs. It is also very well known for it's off-piste. The town has undergone extensive development over the last 5 years and has some fantastic chalets built in traditional style. This is a great resort for families and beginers/intermediates. It's close proximity to Les Arcs and Val D'Isere/Tignes make it ideal for day trips as well.
